History
Atelier i-mana (formerly Immana Paris) quietly came into being in 2012, in a private apartment.
While I was gaining experience in various Parisian fashion houses, I spent my free time creating miniature brooches—a craft that truly fascinated me.
With no real business plan or clear objective, I let myself be guided by childhood memories: dressing up dolls, Sylvanian Families, Koeda-chan... All those miniature toys I loved as a child sparked my imagination. I had fun translating that playful spirit into embroidery, blending it with a touch of fashion.
Little by little, through daily practice with the needle in various workshops and by forging my identity as an artisan, my own creative universe—born from a simple moment of escapism—began to take shape.
While never losing the playful essence of miniatures, I sought to apply, with seriousness and sincerity, the techniques I had long refined in my creations.
And despite a very limited production, more and more people began to follow and support my work.
Being an artisan comes with many challenges: time, labor costs, various constraints...
But there are people who understand this, who believe in the value of this work—and that is an invaluable gift.
I could have chosen to produce my pieces on a larger scale in a factory to make them more accessible.
But that decision did not align with the idea I have of happiness as a craftswoman.
Encouraged by the good fortune of being supported, I will continue to create pieces that you will enjoy discovering with each new collection.
